We currently have a vacancy for a Chef De Partie to join our team. The Chef de Partie assumes responsibilities of the assigned area with the assistance and full support of the Chef D’ Cuisine and Executive Chef in the absence of the Sous Chef.

The main responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Ensure and maintain the highest standard of food preparation in the Hotel, service and hygiene in the kitchen areas;
• Ensure all kitchen areas are maintaining Shangri-la Food Safety Management System and HACCP controls and standards at all times;
• Maintain food safety and hygiene practices;
• Co-ordinate in detail on all restaurant/banquet/food production, including all staff under their supervision;
• Check all stations before service.  Responsible for the correct timing during service and to ensure that food served is always of the highest standard and the freshest quality;
• Constantly check the quality of food prepared with regard to taste and temperature, ensuring both are always maintained at the highest standards;
• Fully understand the SFSMS guidelines; and
• Maintain and support delegation of authority structure in culinary department.
