Our amazing HR and F&B teams are seeking an In-House Talent Specialist responsible for proactively attracting and hiring the best in class talent here at the Shangri-La Hotel, At the Shard, London. Taking inspiration from the spires of London churches and the masts of tall ships depicted by the 18th century Venetian painter Canaletto, Renzo Piano designed The Shard as a spire-like sculpture emerging from River Thames. Outstanding architecture and pure luxury is why up to six thousand people per day visit The Shard’s restaurants, bars and why tens of thousands visit the Shangri-La Hotel, located on level 34-52 of this magnificent building. The Ideal candidate to fill the role will provide the highest level of support in terms of our attraction, retention and proactive sourcing of high potential individuals that will complement our existing teams whilst looking and helping us analyse the long-term planning of our work force requirements. The ideal candidate will look at the full candidate recruitment experience and journey from an internal and external perspective, ensuring our employee brand attraction is placed in the best possible light to recruit the best in class talent. The ideal candidate will own the end to end recruitment process across all business areas and disciplines – including all job grades with a great emphasis on food and beverage – whilst being able to proactively identify and source talent. The role will initially be a 6 month fixed term contract and we are looking to pay for the ideal candidate a salary of £35,000 pro rata, with other great benefits you would expect from such a global group including complimentary meals and drinks whilst on duty, free dry cleaning, company pension scheme, discounted rates at all Shangri-La properties, discounts at Shangri-La Hotel, At the Shard for you and three others in all of our food and beverage outlets, annual season ticket loan and discounts at most other retailers in the London Bridge area.
