Waiter/Waitress - Banqueting (casual) - Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London

We currently have a vacancy for casual banqueting waiter/-ess to join our team.

The Role

Located on level 34 our unique banqueting venue can host bespoke weddings, civil ceremonies and receptions for 20 to 160 guests. The casual banqueting waiter/-ess will be working on an ad hoc basis depending on business needs. The main responsibility will be to provide a finest personalised service by adhering to the banqueting standards and by engaging with our guests and creating memorable experiences for them. She/he will maintain the cleanliness and organisation of all supplies, equipment, work areas as well as guest areas in order to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant banqueting experience
• Excellent guest engagement skills
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in English (both oral and written)

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in a 5* star London hotel
