Campaign Manager (Maternity Cover) - Leicester

12 Month FTC | Circa £35,000 + Benefits

KEY PURPOSE

As the Campaign Manager for Serco Leisure, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the national marketing strategy for Serco Leisure’s leisure facilities, activities and products to successfully meet business targets.

The Campaign Manager is responsible for the briefing of central campaigns and daily management, planning and rollout campaigns across the business including checking and proof-reading all campaign literature and digital communications and ensuring deadlines are met. This includes content planning, presenting our visual identity and voice and incorporating the ethos of our facilities and activities.

The key objective of the role will be to liaise with Design and Digital Team, CRM/Data Team and regional Marketing Managers to ensure all campaigns roll out on plan and are fully communicated across the business. You will also be responsible for measuring campaign effectiveness and results and making recommendations for incorporating learning into future campaign delivery.

The Campaign Manager is also responsible for launching new business-wide service offerings and leading on the promotion of the More Fitness App

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Creating campaigns and content in partnership with ‘expert’ colleagues within the business to deliver compelling and effective campaigns.
  • Developing detailed campaign briefs and liaising with the Design and Digital Team and CRM Team to create individual campaign rollout plans with deadlines for each activity.
  • Responsible for communicating campaign plans to the Director of Marketing, Head of Marketing and Regional Marketing Managers.
  • Monitoring effectiveness and reporting on the results of campaigns through the use of various tools including the business’ CRM software measuring against the business plan KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Forging partnerships and developing close working relationships with key stakeholders to drive campaign development and delivery.
  • To support the Head of Marketing as required on planning marketing projects.
  • Responsible for upholding brand standards

 

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

 

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent Marketing qualification or proven track record and experience in Campaign Management
  • Strong up-to-date knowledge of the latest methodologies, trends and tools in marketing
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to engage colleagues so that marketing activity is successfully delivered
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills (including proofreading)
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good understanding of branding and upholding brand standards
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good data analysis and IT skills
  • Good presentation skills
