Bisham Abbey are looking to recruit two Leisure Operations apprentices to join their team for a minimum 18-month contract

 

 

The successful candidates will be work within the centre ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care at all times. This will include things as supervision of specific areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and the safe handling and set up/down of equipment.

 

 

As a Leisure Operations Apprentice, you will work 39 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a 3-week rota to include some weekend working. The early shifts start at 08:00 am and late shifts finish at 21.30 pm.

 

 

On a day to day basis, the successful candidate’s day to day r, esponsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

 

 

• Providing support to the Duty Manager and Operations Assistant in the day to day operations of the facility.
• Ensuring all equipment is set up in order to meet the needs of the programmed activities and events and de-rigged thereafter.
• Undertaking cleaning tasks as required to ensure the centre is well presented and monitor standards of cleanliness in customer critical areas.
• Maintaining high levels of customer service at all times.
• Maintaining a full product knowledge of the services and activities

       available at the facility.

• Attending training sessions in order to demonstrate competency and maintain valid qualifications.
• Following the processes laid down in the SMS (Serco Management System), in particular Centre Emergencies Procedures and compliance documents.

 

 

Whilst not essential, having experience in a similar environment would be beneficial.
