Fitness Instructor - Holme Pierrepont Country Park

Salary: £7.70 - £8.21p/h

Job type: Part-time 30 hours per week

Holme Pierrepont Country Park are looking for a fitness instructor to join their team.

Reporting to the Health & Fitness Manager, the fitness instructor will be responsible for the day to day operation and safe supervision of the fitness facilities providing inspiring fitness coaching, advice, guidance, programming and goal setting to customers on all aspects of exercise and related subjects.

On a day to day basis, the successful fitness instructor’s day to day responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with our customers and potential customers
• Supervising activities and operating the equipment in a manner consistent with safe working practice
• Assisting in the implementation of activities and promoting healthy Lifestyles
• Devising and delivering fitness assessments, programmes and testing in line with site Induction tracker and policy
• Maintenance of customer records and performing administration duties as required
• Leading and actively promoting group fitness activities on the gym floor or in the group exercise studios
• Be proactive in promoting the facility and activities internally and externally at community events and activities
• Proactively driving the use of the More Fitness App
• Maintain CIMSPA registration through continued self-development

In order to be considered for this position, you must possess a recognised qualification at a minimum Level 2 and be actively working towards Advanced Instructor Qualification.

Although not essential, Level 3 and GP referral qualification would be an advantage in this role.
