Salary: £13.11 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Swimming Teacher to work as and when required between Monday to Sunday.

Jason Kenny Leisure centre has an 80+ station gym that’s just had £1m investment, 8 lane 25-metre swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool and workout studio.

Key purpose of role

The sessions will involve working with a range of age groups who vary from age 3 up until adults. Each session will contain swimmers of mixed ability from beginners to advance. You will be responsible for the safety and skill advancement of the pupils within your care.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Please note: We can only consider applicants who hold an ASA Level 1 / Level 2 or STA award or certficate and a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or Rescue Award (Or be willing to undertake an NPLQ course internally when employed)
