Wedding & Events Coordinator - Bisham Abbey

Salary: £19,000 - £21,000 per annum

Job type: Permanent

Bisham Abbey are looking to hire a full-time wedding & events coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

As a weddings coordinator, the purpose of the role will be to support an effective and efficient onsite sales and delivery for weddings, functions and corporate events.

On a day to day basis, the some of the successful candidate’s duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Responding to inbound enquiries.
  • Where appropriate, create new sales opportunities, maintain relationships and establish new business.
  • Responsibility for wedding planning, conference & party business along with larger restaurant reservations.
  • Conducting initial venue tours with prospective couples/corporate clients, planning meetings with guests and having ongoing contact with them until their event day.
  • Ensuring the client’s vision for the event is perfectly executed.
  • Creating event schedules and function sheets, ensuring all details are listed and specific requirements handed over to the relevant departments.
  • Planning the event menu ensuring coordination with kitchen and chef team.
  • To be confident in up selling and making recommendations through strong product knowledge and maximising sales opportunities.
  • Looking at ways to bring in new business, supporting marketing activity
