Lifeguard (Casual) | Leyland Leisure Centre

Working Hours: Casual Hours

Salary: Up to £8.21 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Casual Lifeguards to work as and when required between Monday to Sunday.

Leyland Leisure Centre has a range of facilities available including a swimming pool, teaching pool, state of the art fitness suite, workout studio, sports hall, two glass back squash courts, a `group cycling` studio and a `strength space` area.

Key Purpose of the role?

The Lifeguard's role is to work within the centre, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care at all times.  The role will involve supervision of specific activities including lifeguarding the swimming pools, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and the safe handling and set up of equipment.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Please note: We can only consider applications from candidates who hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
