Job Title: Learning and Development Advisor - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Solihull
Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 per annum
Key Purpose
This role will be providing all of the administration for the end to end processes on the Learning management system. This will cover, Learning catalogue management, scheduling of items, creating, editing and maintaining items, curricula, programmes and curricula. There will be a fundamental requirement to understand the full suite of Success Factors LMS and be able to provide help and support to employees in the use of the Learning Management System. Also ensuring the agreed governance and processes are followed at all times. Have in-depth knowledge of the Learning Cycle and Learning Needs to be able to effectively advise our internal customers of any solutions available and have excellent administration skills to facilitate our learning catalogue.
Key Accountabilities
- Create and maintain learning assignments on the learning management system
- Manage all course bookings and delegate queries
- Manage, test and maintain online learning courses working with Content Developers
- Prepare and create reports based on learning activity
- Manage the learning catalogue
- Undertake Quality assurance reviews
- Working knowledge of all modules in LMS, Commerce, TBO’s, Curriculums, Item management, Programmes, Questionnaires, Assessments and Collections.
- Receive and respond to varied questions about learning activities and availability of courses
- Manage communications regarding learning opportunities and mandated learning requirements
- Build relationships with business customers to understand learning needs
- Work closely with internal trainers to deliver relevant learning
- Work closely with our content developers to upload content onto LMS
- Liaise with third party learning providers to schedule bookings where appropriate
- Manage Third party Learning management systems where needed
- Produce routine documents using Microsoft Office
- Using other in-house systems, including MyHR, Our World and Collaboration Rooms
- Provide all admin support for our Talent programmes, including assessment centres, mentoring and nominations
- Provide all admin support for View point working with the Project Lead
- Consulting on LMS System defaults and best practice business processes
- Troubleshoot and work with tier 3 to diagnose and resolve LMS issues
- Able to manage work through a ticketing system
- Possess the ability to remain flexible and adaptable to constant change
- Able to identify LMS improvements and take through to implementation
- Perform duties of a Subject Matter Expert on the LMS platform for day to day operations
Essential skills and qualifications
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, inclusive of Sap and Success Factors
- Experience of Assessment Centre delivery
- Experience of Talent Programme delivery
- Experience of managing Purchase Orders
- Experience of working with 3rd party training suppliers
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across a number of teams
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy, with an attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Uses own initiative and works independently
- Identifies and solves problems
- Follows procedures accurately and reliably
- Presents a professional approach
- Maintains high quality standards
- IT Literate : MS Office Suite, with particular knowledge of Word, PowerPoint & Excel
- Excellent writing skills

- Learning administration experience would be advantageous
- Experience of working with an LMS, particularly Success Factors
Special requirements
Must be flexible with some potential travel within the UK, but role will be based in Birmingham
