An exciting opportunity has arisen as we are looking to recruit for Lifeguards to work 37 hours per week between Monday to Sunday.

Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex is a £38 m leisure facility which includes the development of Northern Ireland’s first FINA standard 50 metre swimming pool and a £15 m investment from the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL) administered by Sport Northern Ireland. 

The complex offers an excellent choice of sporting and leisure facilities.

Key Purpose of the role?

The role of the Lifeguard is to work within the centre ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care at all times. The role will involve supervision of specific activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and the safe handling and set up of equipment.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Please note: We can only consider applications from candidates who hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
