Swimming Teacher (Casual) | Cocks Moors Leisure Centre

Working Hours: Casual

Salary: £10.10 per hour

We are recruiting for a Casual Swimming Teacher to work between Monday to Sunday as and when required, at Cocks Moors Leisure Centre.

Cocks Moors Woods is the largest leisure centre in south Birmingham and has everything you need to stay fit and healthy and also have fun and entertain the children.

Key Purpose of the role?

In the role of the Swimming Teacher You will be involved working with a range of age groups who vary from age 3 up until adults. Each session will contain swimmers of mixed ability from beginners to advance.

You will be responsible for the safety and skill advancement of the pupils within your care.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Please note: We can only consider applicants who hold a level 2 Swim England Qualification or STA certificate level 2 and hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or Rescue Award.
