Hours: 39 per week

Salary: £16,649.88 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen, as we are currently recruiting for a Full Time Fitness Instructor to work at Swallows Leisure Centre for 39 hours a week between Monday to Sunday.

Located in the town centre of Sittingbourne, the whole family can enjoy three swimming pools as well as exciting water features such as the Interactive Pirate Ship, Flume, Waves, Inflatable Slide and Pool Inflatable. We also have a state of the art fitness suite kitted out with the latest equipment, two workout studios offering over 40 classes a week, a crèche and a cafe.

 

Swallows Leisure Centre is managed by Swale Community Leisure Limited. Established in 2004 the Trust works in partnership with the Swale Borough Council to offer value for money leisure services.

Key purpose of role: 

 

To provide inspiring fitness coaching to customers and to provide advice, guidance and programming to customers on all aspects of exercise and related subjects in accordance with the IsoSpa Customer Intimacy Health and Fitness programme.

 

What are we looking for?

 

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to provide safe, appropriate, fun and results focussed fitness coaching to customers as well as inducting and assessing new members. 

 

As the fitness instructor you will have a commitment to maintain CIMSPA registration and attend regular CPD training

 

You will be able to develop weight loss and fitness programmes with realistic goals to enable customers to achieve their SMART exercise goals in a fun and enjoyable environment.

 

You will also have a good standard of personal presentation, communication and customer service skills.

 

It is essential that you hold a recognised Fitness qualification or equivalent
