Lifeguard | Wet 'n' Wild

 

Location: Wet n Wild (Royal Quays, North Shields NE29 6DA)

Contract Type: Fixed Term March to October & Casual

We are currently recruiting for a number of Casual and Part time Lifeguards to work as part of the large operational team within a busy leisure environment to work up to 16 hours at weekends and more hours between Monday to Friday when it’s half term.

 

Wet `n` Wild is the North East`s largest indoor water park. Situated in North Shields, just beside Royal Quays shopping centre, Wet `n` Wild offers 10 exciting thrill rides, a great cafe, mini water park, fully stocked shop and a host of fully trained staff.

Key Purpose of the role?

The Lifeguard's role is to work within the centre, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care at all times.  The role will involve supervision of specific activities including lifeguarding the swimming pools, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and the safe handling and set up of equipment.

 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.

 

It is essential that you hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
