Salary: £18,250.05 + Commission & Overtime opportunities

An exciting opportunity has arisen as we’re currently recruiting for a Membership Sales Advisorsto work 40 hours per week between Monday to Sunday.

 

Opened in 1970, Wyndley Leisure Centre is the largest leisure centre of its kind in Birmingham. A number of facilities are available at the centre including a main pool, teaching pool, diving boards, 8 lane 400m running track, all weather pitch, sports hall, dance studio, creche and much more.

Purpose Of Role

The Membership Sales Advisor will be responsible for assisting the Contracts Commercial Team in the promotion and sale of the centre’s facilities. The Membership Sales Advisor will need to follow the appropriate sales manual which outlines the system, procedures, processes and standards to be employed at their facility in the delivery of membership sales.

 

Principal Duties

  • To Promote the centre’s products, services and membership options
  • Encourage potential customers / members
  • Conduct tours of the facilities
  • Advise the Commercial Manager on and help plan lead generation programmes
  • Increase membership sales in line with targets
  • Maintain and develop a customer database
  • Have a good knowledge of a computerised membership database system
  • To have a good knowledge of competitors and track the monthly promotions
  • Carry out other related duties as from time to time may arise or be assigned by the General Manager

 
Essential Skills

  • Experience in a customer service, sales or leisure industry
  • Minimum GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Good telephone manner
  • Self-motivated and organised
