Lifeguard (Casual) | Erdington Leisure Centre

Location: Orphanage Road, Birmingham, B24 9HU

Working Hours: Casual

Salary: £7.85 plus 95p per hour annual leave entitlement

An exciting opportunity has arisen, as we are currently recruiting for a Casual Lifeguard to work as part of the large operational team within a busy leisure environment to work as and when required at Erdington Leisure centre.

This state of the art new site boasts a 25mtr pool, steam room, 75+ station gym, free weights area plus workout studio.

Key Purpose of the role?

The Lifeguard's role is to work within the centre, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care at all times.  The role will involve supervision of specific activities including lifeguarding the swimming pools, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and the safe handling and set up of equipment.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures

It is essential that you hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
