Contract Manager - Wet N Wild, North Shields

Salary:  up to £45,000 per annum + Fantastic Benefits

Hours: 37 per week, flexibility to work evenings and at weekends is required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Wet ‘N’ Wild contract who are recruiting for a Contract Manager to work full time, 37 hours per week. 

Reporting into the Partnership Director this really is a fantastic opportunity to join this developing Leisure site. 

Managing a team of c75 operational leisure staff you will have direct responsibility for the development and delivery of this fantastic £1.2m contract.   The site currently houses an impressive water park/wet side facility which includes flumes, slides, Jacuzzis, wave pool's and a lazy river.

We are looking for an established leisure individual to manage the existing operation, and to bring innovation and commerciality to drive the business forward. This is an excellent opportunity to be recognised, offer your experience and really make a difference by guiding the team and continuously improve and add to the facilities on this unique water park.

The Ideal candidate will possess an appropriate formal qualification, Leisure/Sport related degree, DMS, Diploma member of a professional body or be able to demonstrate industry experience applicable to general business or the leisure industry.

Your naturally strong leadership qualities will enable you to lead, develop and inspire both direct reports and people in your wider organisation to cultivate strong, competent teams.

You should be able to demonstrate a level of experience and knowledge commensurate with the position in:

  • Business Planning and Financial Control
  • Communicating/managing/negotiating at Senior level
  • Leadership of employees in a multi-discipline environment
  • Effective Business Relationship Management
  • Marketing
  • Commercial aspects of leisure management
  • Operational aspects of leisure management
  • Management Information Systems
