Facilities Maintenance Engineer | NCLT

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: up to £28,221 per annum + Fantastic Benefits

Location: Site Based with travel to other sites in the Northern Ireland.  

Our Facilities Management team at Serco within the Leisure Services division have a new and exciting opportunity for a talented Facilities Maintenance professional to work for our Leisure Contract, based in Bangor.

Serco provides leisure services on behalf of community leisure trusts, local authorities, universities, and sporting associations such as Sport England. Our facilities include national sports complexes, outdoor activity venues, community leisure centres, gyms, swimming pools, water sports, tennis courts, golf courses, and conference centres.

 Overview of the role

As the successful candidate, you will be a part of our technical team and ensure our leisure facilities provide a safe, warm and fun environment for our customers and staff.

You will provide a high level of hands-on and supervisory technical support to the site based Management Team. As well as provide the maintenance, service and repair function on both a hands-on and appointment & supervision of external sub-contractor’s basis.

About you 

The ideal candidate will have a previous building maintenance experience gained within Leisure, Retail, Hospitality or commercial office space environment.

You should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the core maintenance requirements and be able to act on your own initiative by solving problems within facilities that have a number of complex M&E systems.

  • Qualified electrically to 17th Edition
