Location: Mote Park, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 7RN

Hours/Pattern: 4.5 Hours per week, Tuesday, 4-6pm, Thursday, 4 – 6.30pm

Salary: £13 per Hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Maidstone Leisure Centre, who are recruiting for a Swimming Teacher to work 4.5 hours a week on the days stated above.

With five swimming pools, brand new family changing rooms, a two storey state-of-the-art gym, sports hall, children’s soft play area and a 1,200 seated event hall offering a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family to enjoy, any age and ability.

Key Purpose of the role?

In the role of the Swimming Teacher You will be involved working with a range of age groups who vary from age 3 up until adults. Each session will contain swimmers of mixed ability from beginners to advance.

You will be responsible for the safety and skill advancement of the pupils within your care.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Pool Plant, NPLQ and First Aid are desirable, but training will be provided.
