Fitness Instructor (20 Hrs) | Queen's Leisure Complex

Location: Queen’s Leisure Complex, Sullivan Close, Holywood, Co. Down, BT18 9HL

Hours:  20 Hours per week

Salary: £10,067.2 Per Annum, £9.68 Per Hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Queen's Leisure Complex who are recruiting for a Fitness Instructor to work 20 hours per week between Monday – Sunday covering earlies, lates and weekends.

 

Queen's Leisure Complex is situated just off the Holywood Bypass on the main Belfast to Bangor Road. It is directly across the main road from the railway station. The Leisure Complex is situated in Sullivan Close with a free car park for Centre users at the front of the building. It is a very short walk to the centre of Holywood.

Key purpose of role:  

 

As a Fitness Instructor, you are required to maintain high standards of customer care throughout the Centre, ensuring the Customer Journey remains excellent at all times.

 

You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout all areas of the building, ensuring the planned programme of activities and other bookings are set up in a timely and safe fashion, and to conduct inductions/programmes within the gym at scheduled times.

 

You will also be required to provide Key holder and Reception Cover as and when needed.

 

What are we looking for?

 

It is essential that you have a Level 2 Fitness Instructor Qualification, First Aid and are over 18 to be considered for this role.

 

Also the following are Desirable:

  • NVQ Customer Service Level 2
  • Knowledge of Front of House systems
  • Good knowledge of COSHH
  • Excellent understanding of the operational requirements of a busy Leisure Centre
  • Good understanding of cash handling and experience of reception
