Location: Horwich Leisure Centre, Horwich, BL6 5PY

Working hours: 37 Hours Per week

Salary: £16,450.02 per annum, £8.55 per hour + time and half on Sat and double time Sunday

We are currently recruiting for a Lifeguard to work 37 Hours per week between Monday to Sunday at the new Horwich leisure Centre, which has a fantastic new gym, virtual spin class, 25m pool and much more!

Key Purpose of the role?

The role of the Lifeguard is to work within the centre ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care at all times. The role will involve supervision of specific activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and the safe handling and set up of equipment.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures. A first aid at work qualification and pool plant operator’s certificate are also desirable.

Please note: We can only consider applications from candidates who hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society)
