Salary: £28,000 per annum + Fantastic Benefits
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

Westhoughton Community Leisure Centre, part of the Bolton Community Leisure Trust are recruiting for an enthusiastic Facility Manager.

This is a great opportunity where you will have the autonomy to shape the role whilst developing your skills and experience. The position is suited to a manager who has experience within operating in a deputy capacity or similar seeking to branch into their own site role.

Westhoughton Community Leisure Centre, has a wide range of facilities offering an excellent choice of sporting and leisure activities in the heart of the community.  There really is something for everyone.

About the role

As the Facility Manager you will provide trusted leadership and management of a Leisure Facility in a demanding commercial environment.

You will lead a team responsible for the following areas:

  • Pool Supervision and safety through line Management of DM Team
  • Development and delivery of Swim School – aspirational target of 1000 by year end.
  • Generation and retention of Health and Fitness members.
  • Line Management and support to Key ‘HOD’s as outlined in our structure
  • Support to Contract Manager in regards to Programming and Centre development.
  • Customer service, response to complaints and a focus on ‘TQM’
  • Establishing key relationships and work within the community.

Essential qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in Leisure Management or related subject.
  • IOSH Certificate or equivalent.
  • National Pool Plant Operators Certificate.
