Catering & Bar Supervisor | Swallows Leisure Centre

Location: Swallows Leisure Centre, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 4NT

Working Hours: 26 hours per week

Salary: £11,492.00 Per annum, £8.50 Per Hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen, as we are looking to recruit a Part Time Catering Supervisor to work 26 hours per week between Monday to Sunday at Swallows Leisure Centre.

As part of the Swale Leisure Trust, Swallows Leisure Centre is Located in the town centre of Sittingbourne, the whole family can enjoy three swimming pools as well as exciting water features such as the Interactive Pirate Ship, Flume, Waves, Inflatable Slide and Pool Inflatable. We also have a state of the art fitness suite kitted out with the latest equipment, two workout studios offering over 40 classes a week, a crèche and a cafe.

About The Role

The Catering Supervisor’s role is to support the catering team in achieving the high standards of service and customer care at all times.  The role will also ensure compliance with food safety legislation.

Working as part of the management team, the Catering Supervisor will promote the café and catering service with a view to increasing sales in line with the Centre’s business objectives.

Qualification Level

You will hold a Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certificate

Experience Level

The Catering Supervisor should be able to demonstrate a level of experience and knowledge commensurate with the position in:

  • Supervision or management of a food retail operation or service led organisation
  • Staff supervision and development
  • Administrative and financial processes

Essential Skills

The Catering Supervisor should be able to demonstrate skills commensurate with the position in:

  • Excellent customer care and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Good food preparation / cooking skills
  • Financial awareness and cash handling
