Salary: up to 21,066.00 depending on experience + Benefits

Location: Birmingham, Northfield Leisure Centre

Hours: 40 per week, flexibility to work evenings and at weekends is required.

Overview of the role

As the successful candidate, you will develop and manage all activities contained within the centres swimming and dry course programme.

You will drive revenue through delivery of sessions and programmes to meet financial targets as set within the business plan.

You will provide support in administration for the swimming lesson programme and the reporting of statistical information as and when required. 

You will support all aspects of the Aquatics and Dry course business, will be an ambassador for the centre Aquatics and dry course programme to the centres current customers and within the local community.

The Aquatics & Dry course Activator will report directly to the General Manager and have the support of contracts Aquatics & Dry course Managers where required.

Essential Experience

  • Working in a busy leisure environment
  • Developing a swimming & dry course membership sales environment.
  • Dealing with high volumes of customers, adults and children
  • Leading a team and managing rotas.
  • Managing a quality Swim Scheme programme
  • Managing a pool programme
  • Dealing with Clubs, associations and other hires of the pool area

Qualifications / Experience:

  • ASA Level 2 or STA Level 1 certificate - Essential
  • NPLQ or Rescue test of teachers – Essential

  • GP Referral Qualified – Desirable
  • Customer Service Qualification – Desirable
  • Managing a quality dry course programme
