Fitness Instructor (20hrs)| Park Pool

Location: Ormskirk, L39 3BY
Hours: 20 hours

Salary: £9.76 per hour, £10,150.5 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a part time Fitness Instructor to work 20 hours per week including every other weekend.

Park Pool is part of the West Lancashire Community Leisure Trust. Their vision is the creation and maintenance of a first class range of healthy leisure and recreational activities and facilities to serve all parts of the community.

Park Pool has a range of facilities available including a swimming pool, teaching pool, state of the art gym and a workout studio.  A wide range of activities is available to suit people of all ages and abilities.

Key purpose of role:  

The Fitness Instructors role is to provide fitness coaching, advice, guidance and programming to customers on all aspects of exercise and related subjects in accordance with the health and Fitness programme.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to provide safe, appropriate, fun and results focussed fitness coaching to customers as well as inducting and assessing new members. 

As the fitness instructor you will develop weight loss and fitness programmes with realistic goals to enable them to achieve their objectives in a fun and enjoyable environment.

You will also have a good standard of personal presentation, communication and customer service

Please note: It is desirable that you have a REPS level 3 and essential that you have a REPS level 2 for you to be considered for this role.
