Swimming Teacher (Part Time) | Water Meadows Swimming and Fitness Complex

Location: Mansfield, NG18 1BA

Working Hours: 3.5 hours per week, Mon 3.30 to 6pm, Sat 9 to 10am

Salary: Up to £12.37 per hour

As part of the Mansfield District trust, Water Meadows are currently recruiting for a Part time Swimming Teacher to work the hours and days above.

Water Meadows offers everything you need for a great family visit. The leisure pool is packed with water rides to keep both adults and children entertained, whilst the competition pool and fitness suite provide for those seeking a more active visit.

Key Purpose of the role?

In the role of the Swimming Teacher You will be involved working with a range of age groups who vary from age 3 up until adults. Each session will contain swimmers of mixed ability from beginners to advance.

You will be responsible for the safety and skill advancement of the pupils within your care.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Please note: We can only consider applications who hold a professional swimming qualification equivalent to the Amateur Swimming Association Level 2 and hold a relevant lifesaving award equivalent to the National Pool Lifeguard
