Location: Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre, Alcester Rd S, Kings Heath, Birmingham B14 6ER

Hours:  Casual hours between Monday to Sunday

Salary: £9.50 per hour

 

An excellent opportunity is available to join this established and fun team on our Birmingham Leisure contract. We are recruiting for a dance teacher to work at Cocks Moors Leisure Centre.

 

Cocks Moors Woods is the largest leisure centre in south Birmingham and has everything you need to stay fit and healthy and also have fun and entertain the children.

Job Purpose

To lead with the development and delivery of a Dance Coaching Programme at Cocks Moors Leisure Centre for 4 – 11 year olds.

 

Essential Skills & Experience

• Hold a minimum level 1 NGB coaching or dance teaching award (or equivalent)
• First aid (Desirable)
• Child Protection (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills
• Good customer care skills
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Ability to work towards and meet targets
• Ability to work on own and as part of a team
• Good administrative skills
• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods for different ages and abilities
