What your role will be

 

We are looking to recruit for 2 Lifeguards at Tadley Swimming Pool on a full time basis.  You will provide supervision for the 25 m swimming pool, ensuring customer safety at all times by preventing accidents and incidents and by taking the appropriate action in the event of any occurrence.  You will work within the centre ensuring a high standard of service and customer care.  You will also maintain a full product knowledge of the services and activities available at the centre.

 

You will supervise specific activities which includes the safe handling and set up of equipment.  You will undertake cleaning tasks as required to ensure the centre is well presented and monitor standards of cleanliness. 

 

This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week on a 3 week rotation which includes early / late shifts, weekends and some Bank Holidays. 

 

About you

 

You should be able to demonstrate a level of experience and knowledge commensurate with the position, e.g. working in a service led or retail operation.  Ideally you will possess a current Royal Lifesaving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).   If you do not hold this qualification, but are interested in gaining the NPLQ, please state this on your application as we will consider funding this course if you are a competent swimmer.
