The venue

Stationers Hall is a new addition to the Searcys portfolio and is reopening after an extensive refurbishment project. Set in the heart of the City adjacent to St Pauls Cathedral it boasts stunning features and an outside space making it a highly sought after proposition.

With a number of rooms and versatile spaces the venue accommodates everything from dinners and receptions, to meetings and weddings all set round a secluded courtyard the venue offers variety and flexibility.

We are looking for a Sales & Events Executive to support our client at the venue, you will be a key member of the team dealing with enquiries from arrival through planning, up to the day of the event. Stationers Hall hosts a wide variety of events so you can be sure that no two days will be the same.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver sales into the venue to achieve the monthly and annual sales target.
• Conduct show rounds and client visits to a high standard.
• Help oversee the banqueting diary (Priava) ensuring that all information is accurate, up to date and that all the correct revenue has been inputted.
• Ensure venue product knowledge and seasonal menus are communicated to clients and actively upsell to increase average spends and revenue opportunities.
• Plan and execute all meetings, conferences, and events at Stationers Hall.
• Create, complete and have ownership of all function sheets - detailing all event requirements from start to finish.
• Assist with function sheets requirements including audio visual equipment, flowers, linen and entertainment (where necessary) and obtain quotations to send to clients for confirmation.
• Greet clients on arrival making sure that the event is as they require, and ensuring that any on the day changes are passed on where necessary, to the operational team.
• Ensure in house accounting policies are adhered to and checked. Ensuring billing invoices are completed within agreed timeframes and debt is chased.
• Maintain good working relationship with Stationers Hall and other Searcys sites.
