Our Kitchen Porters at the Inner Temple are the backbone of our kitchen operation for our Private Members' restaurant.

Main function of the role:

• To ensure all areas of the kitchen and service areas on all floors are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.
• To ensure all areas are regularly checked for maintenance and repairs.
• To maintain all catering storage areas, ensuring they are always organised and clean.
• To receive, count, inspect and store goods correctly.
• To be involved with some food preparation and service when required.

Skills required:

• Hard working and willing to learn
• Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally
• Demonstrates good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent record keeping
