• The person in this position works as dancer in the theatre ensemble and is responsible for the stage-ready presentation of the developed roles in the show and entertainment formats of TUI-Cruises.
• As dancer in the theatre ensemble, the artist takes on dancing, motion, singing, or parts as an extra in the show formats of TUI-Cruises.
• Performances in theatre shows, dinner shows, pool shows, solo programmes, special events, group events and other entertainment formats.
• Participation and involvement in all rehearsals and repertoire rehearsals for entertainment formats.
• Autonomous physical training and regular dance training.
• Informs the dance captain and theatre manager of any conflicts and disturbances in the work flow.
• Fulfils host duties to passengers (stairguiding, check-in).
• Contact for all passengers in case of problems and complaints.
• Active integration into on-board community, participation in team meetings.

• Completed nationally recognised artistic training or similar artistic skills as dancer, ballet dancer or stage dancer.
• Professional training in ballet, modern dance, jazz dance.
• High level of commitment, energy and stamina.
• Talent, natural charisma and artistic instinct.
• Distinctive musical and rhythmic sensibilities.
• Professional training in ballet, modern dance, jazz dance.
• English knowledge (spoken and written).

• Several years' experience of professional stage productions desirable.
• Experience as dancer on board a cruise ship advantageous.
• Ability to sustain a continuous high level of physical performance.
• Marked understanding of customer service and guidance.
• Basic training in national and character dance.
• Basic training in singing and acting advantageous.
• Self-confidence, very good social graces.
• Resilience.
• Very kempt appearance.
• Communication skills and team skills.
