Duty Manager

Part time Hours -Contracted to 20 hours a week

Part-time Duty Manager wanted for IMMEDIATE START. Therole will involve working evenings, weekends and school-holiday periodsassisting clubs and groups within a sports and leisure environment. The personappointed will represent both the company and the partner school during communitylettings periods. The amount of working hours may vary depending on the amountof use taking place at the school.

Job Description 

 

=      Manage the school facilities during communitylettings periods (evenings, weekends and school holidays) by opening andclosing the facility for the community

=      Deliver a world class experience for our clients bymeeting and greeting them into the facility

=      Provide high levels of customer care for allhirers/users, including a point of contact for any queries or problems theyhave.

=      Service and standards are key, you will ensure thatthe facility is closed down in a better condition than when we received it

=      Ensure all equipment is set-out and put awayproperly before each booking and that the facilities remain safe, clean andtidy at all times.

=      Assist with some marketing and administration of the school's lettings programme as designated by the School Leisure and Sport Manager

=      Regularly access SLS's online booking calendar so you are aware of what bookings are taking place during your shift

=      Complete and submit time-sheets and holiday formselectronically

=      Maintain the security of the community facilities byensuring that all entrances and exits remain secure and that access to thefacilities is only granted to members and guests of the hiring club or group

=      Provide high levels of customer care for allhirers/users, including a point of contact for any queries or problems theyhave

=      Supervise the vacation of the premises at the end ofthe lettings period, ensuring all lights are switched off, doors and windowsare locked and any appropriate alarms are set

=      Carry out weekly maintenance checks on the sportsfacilities to ensure that they are in safe, working order

=      SLS operates its own Lone Working Policy to protectthe welfare of its staff. All applicants will be subject to enhanced disclosureCRB checks if successful.

The person appointed will be directly employed bySchool Letting Solutions.

Requirements

  • Candidates with a car are desirable
  •  Candidates must be over 18 years old due to lone working conditions. All SLA team members will receive a lone worker device and full training will be given.
