The Company

The concept is built on custom designed, interconnected trampoline playing courts stretching wall-to-wall across a vast area, provide an exhilarating and exciting bouncing experience that can be enjoyed by anyone, no matter what age, size, fitness level or experience.

Rush has secured a key partnership agreement with a significant park operator currently operating in US, Germany, South Africa, and will rapidly expand to other locations worldwide. This agreement ensures that Rush will benefit from the very latest park technology and extensive market experience gained from the largest market in the world.

Rush intends to grow rapidly across the UK market through a considered expansion strategy, with a target of operating 5+ parks across the UK within the next 3-5 years.

Rush has secured its first site in High Wycombe, set to open in November 2015, and is now looking to recruit its Coffee Shop/Barista team.

The Role

This role will involve preparing and serving food and drinks to customers.  This person will be required to take personal responsibility for delivering outstanding quality and customer service.  In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring that all cash handling procedures are adhered to in line with company expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • To produce and serve food and drinks to general customers, groups and parties ensuring high quality food standards are adhered to at all times
  • Completing sales transactions and cashing up and balancing of monies at end of duty, including balancing of stock inventories
  • To ensure all health and safety and cleanliness standards are adhered to at all times
  • To maintain customer areas to company standards
  • To maintain stock levels and replenish stock in accordance to company procedures
  • To complete all tasks required by the daily cleaning schedule
  • To deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • To undertake all other reasonable duties as required

The Person

  • Must be a confident and clear communicator who is able to deal with staff and customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Must have strong organisational skills
  • Must be able to work unsupervised
  • Must have good food handling skills
  • Must have good cash handling skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays

Qualifications

  • Good level of education
  • Ideally have a minimum of 1 years’ experience within a hospitality/retail role which involved food handling and/or cash handling
  • Ideally have a food handling certificate (or be prepared to undertake the necessary training to gain a food handling certificate)
  • Must have a barista qualification or be prepared to train as a barista.
