As  Rooms Maintenance Engineering, you will be working within the Engineering Department and report directly to Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, Engineer Supervisor, and Lead Shift Engineer.

You will in line with the Royal Lancaster London Hotel policies and procedures, provide a pro-active and re-active maintenance service to the entire hotel under the guidance of the Chief Engineer and of the Assistant Chief Engineer, ensuring that all service/breakdown requests are rapidly dealt with with to the highest standards thereby contributing to total guest satisfaction. To interact with all the supervisors and managers, both internally and externally so as to understand the requirements of the whole hotel operation.

  • Essential for our Rooms Maintenance Engineering 
  • At least 3 years of experience in building services maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical systems, and plumbing 
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures 
  • Capable of painting 
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and bank holidays if required
  • NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds (or equivalent)

Royal Lancaster London is based at Lancaster Terrace, London W2 2TY and the closest tube station is Lancaster Gate on the central line underground.
