Assistant Restaurant Manager - Park Terrace

The Royal Garden Hotel is one of the UK’s largest five red star hotels comprising of 394 bedrooms, three bars, two restaurants, extensive conference and events spaces and a health club. Priding itself on providing a tailored personalised guest service, the Royal Garden Hotel is located next door to Kensington Palace and some of London’s most famous attractions. The hotel also has a rich and remarkable sporting legacy dating back to the famous World Cup win of 1966. 

As the Royal Garden Hotel’s 2AA Rosette all-day fine dining restaurant, Park Terrace serves breakfast, lunch, Afternoon Tea and dinner as well as playing host to a number of special events throughout the year. Using only fresh produce from trusted local suppliers, Park Terrace serves seasonal European cuisine with a modern twist. The relaxing atmosphere overlooking Kensington Gardens means that guests can unwind while enjoying the best possible guest service which echoes throughout the hotel. 

As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will be working alongside the Restaurant Manager to oversee the smooth, effective and efficient operation of the Restaurant. This involves ensuring that all members of staff within the Park Terrace are enabled to deliver a truly five star dining experience to our guests.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well presented individual who leads the team by example and who has a proven track record of five star Food and Beverage Service experience in a similar or supervisory capacity. You will need strong communication skills, both, written and verbally and a disposition to foster strong positive working relationships with your colleagues as well as key personnel beyond the Park Terrace. You should bring a good knowledge of the market we operate in which you will have gained through work experience in a similar establishment. You will also need to be conversant with UK Health and Safety and Food Hygiene legislation.

This is a full time position, with the hours of work depending on business demands
