Digital Marketing Assistant - Royal Garden Hotel, London

A unique opportunity has arisen for an Digital Marketing Executive to join our Sales and Marketing department at the Royal Garden Hotel.

Our Sales and Marketing team successfully position the Royal Garden Hotel internationally in the London 5 Star market – one of the most competitive luxury hotel markets in the world. They seek out potential guests for the hotel by spreading our vision as the most flexible and creative hotel offering outstanding value for money. Our Sales and Marketing team have a keen interest in building sustained customer relationships with a view to developing business.

The Ideal Candidate would have:

  • ·Excellent written and verbal skills
  • ·A proactive and positive attitude
  • ·Attention to detail
  • ·Organisational skills and able to work to deadlines
  • ·Degree educated in either marketing or hospitality discipline
  • ·Previous Marketing experience, preferably in online marketing
  • ·Computer literate with a good understanding of social media
  • ·Knowledge of Indesign, Photoshop, Google Analytics, Website Managerement and Adwords would be an advantage

The Role

  • •Ensure the website is kept up to date with the latest promotions, blogs and news
  • •Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, manage the day-to-day activity of the Royal Garden Hotel’s website agency to ensure agreed actions are carried out and deadlines met
  • •Ensure all content and offers are up to date on the voucher scheme portal
  • •Manage a social media content calendar for all social media channels for the hotel and F&B outlets, including Facebook, Twitter, G+, Instagram and Pinterest
  • •Work with the content agency to identify 10 blog topics each month, incorporating news from within the hotel and London area
  • •Work on the design, creation and distribution of hotel e-newsletters
  • •Monitor competitor newsletters and social media on a monthly basis for latest news, offers, and marketing developments
  • •Assist with pulling weekly/monthly reports on the performance of the Royal Garden Hotel and Min Jiang Restaurant websites using analytics
  • •Ensure the Royal Garden Hotel brand and tone of voice is consistent across all online communications
