The Chequers

Located on Walthamstow High Street in the heart of E17, The Chequers has been present in Walthamstow since as early as 1699 when it acted as a courtroom and a meeting place.

Nowadays we’re a traditional East London boozer serving the good people of E17 a range of fine beers & local ales from the likes of Wild Card, Pillars, Five Points & Howling Hops.

Our kitchen is proudly run by top East London chefs, RockADollar serving delicious food, including, Sunday roasts, and a midweek Pizza Kitchen
