Food & Beverage Assistant - London

Salary: £19,550 uniform and meals whilst on duty

hours: Full-time 40 hours per week, 5 days over a 7 day rota)

Roehampton Club is London’s premier private members multisport clubs. We offer a wide range of sports and catering provision, delivered to the highest standards. The club’s six catering outlets include events, carvery and retail style outlets.

We are seeking to recruit a Food & Beverage Assistant working across various catering departments – Juice Bar, Bar, Club Café and the Carvery. Also to work on our events and functions and our mobile van.

The successful candidate must be able to offer the following key criteria after full training and support has been given:

  • To implement the set up and refresh when necessary the CIub Café, Bar, banqueting rooms, Carvery, and any other area as deemed necessary.
  • To set up and service tea and coffee stations, plate service, buffet service, working lunch service, and silver service when required.
  • To ensure adherence to set standards for club service and cleanliness.
  • To attend daily pre shift meetings to discuss the day’s upcoming events in detail, special requests and product development.
  • To ensure that all storage areas are cleaned and inspected on a regular basis.
  • To operate an EPOS system according to the training given.
  • To ensure adherence to all legislative and company fire, health, and safety and security guidelines.
  • To ensure that the correct uniform and name badges are worn at the start of each shift.
  • To actively participate in departmental meetings.

  • Good time management skills
  • Willing to be part of a team, whilst using own initiative as and when required.
  • Good understanding of food safety and health and safety practices at work.
