Based in the heart of Stockport for almost two centuries, and running 10 managed pubs in the North West, ‘Robinsons’ is one of oldest and most respected names in British brewing history.

As independent brewers, we welcome our employees into the family and pride ourselves on the dedication of our various teams in delivering great quality ales and support for our pubs.

Our distinguishing features include our size and age. We’re big enough to make things happen, but small enough to really care. We work directly with our teams to help everyone to reach their full potential.

We also understand the importance of taking on new challenges to develop and nurture skills and knowledge. We have been learning for almost 180 years (and counting) and we encourage all our employees to do the same.

A proud family of independent brewers, Robinsons is one of the most advanced and sophisticated breweries in the UK, with a worldwide reputation for real ale. It’s also home to the largest hopnik in the world. From here we apply decades of experience to create exciting new varieties and choices of flavour that will lead us towards our next award-winning beer.

Combining original recipe heritage brews such as Old Tom (first brewed in 1899) and Unicorn (legendary since 1896) with innovative young ales such as Dizzy Blonde, Wizard and TROOPER (created with Iron Maiden) is what differentiates Robinsons… forward-thinking with the very best traditions. It’s an award winning formula which has earned Robinsons real ale recognition for almost 180 years.

To maintain our exceptional consistency and beer excellence, our brewing methods are a carefully controlled combination of temperature, timing and flow rates. This helps us reduce variation and save on time, materials and utilities. The end result? The unmistakable taste of Robinsons beer.
