Chef de Partie - Sky by the Water
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Chef de Partie to join our Sky by the Water kitchen team at Resorts World Birmingham.
Key competencies & duties include:
- Management of a section during service
- Keep high hygiene standards
- Follow the stock rotation
- Manage M.E.P
- Prepare and finish specific dishes to the highest standards at the appropriate times in the required quantities in a cost effective manner
- Check food products received and to store according to company procedure
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- Be able to work in a pressured environment
- Work well in a team with good communication skills
- Be creative but also need to be able to follow recipes
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions.
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
