We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at our Cock Inn pub, located in the picturesque village of Headley, nestled in the Surrey Hills between Leatherhead and Epsom. This role will be crucial to support in maintaining and evolving our premium food offering.

We’re dedicated to sourcing from British farmers and producers and using only sustainable ingredients at all our pubs. Our highly skilled chefs believe there is nothing better than fresh, local, seasonal ingredients that have travelled only a small distance to our kitchens.

You will be an enthusiastic chef who shares our passion for great food. You will be a highly valued and crucial part of the kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to hone your skills and grow your repertoire in the kitchen, whilst ensuring our dishes are delicious every time.

The ideal Chef de Partie will:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years kitchen experience
  • NVQ Diploma in professional cookery ideal but not essential, happy to consider candidates qualified by experience
  • Have a passion for great food and a customer focussed mindset
  • Be honestdedicated, and hardworking approach
  • Have Enthusiasm take real pride in achieving exceptional results
  • Be adaptable and have a great sense of humour!
  • Be able to maintain consistently exceptional levels of cleanliness
  • Consistently create great food and set an excellent example in the kitchen team
  • Be patient and Support with developing others in the kitchen team
  • Ambition and drive to keep learning and to succeed
  • Take pride in high standards, ensuring that health and safety procedures are maintained properly
