Laundry Assistant - Ragdale Hall Spa, Melton Mowbray

Salary: £8.28 per hour age 21 and above, £7.65 per hour age 18-20 and £6.75 per hour age 16 and 17.

Hours of work:

23.75 hours worked on a 2 week rota working between the hours of 7am – 7.30pm. (For more information, please call the HR department on 01664 433038)

About this position:

Working in the small but busy Laundry Team which is part of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for supplying fresh bed and table linen, towels and towelling robes to all areas within the Hall.

You will be required to load and unload the industrial washing machines and tumble driers and where required place items through the electronic press.  You will then be required to fold and store items or deliver them to the correct department.

You will also be responsible for stock levels of laundry chemicals and re-ordering when necessary.

You may also be required to move laundry from the main building to the laundry building using a motorised tug.

Full training will be given.
