You’ll find the Keyworth Tavern just five miles east of Nottingham City Centre in the commuter village of Keyworth.

We’re looking for a dynamic and ambitious Management Partner who can make this pub the most popular local offering. You’ll serve the best pint where friends and families gather, new friendships start and experiences shared.

If you’re an experienced community operator and sports pub enthusiast, then this is the pub for you! You’ll excel serving premium drinks, local cask, and high-quality food. Yours will be the best Sunday roast for miles.

The ideal operator will have a passion for beer and food quality. You’ll have previously operated a business that engages with locals and new guests alike.

You’ll also have a proven track record for recruiting, training, and leading a team. We’re looking for the quintessential host keen to showcase regular events. You'll be imaginative in maximising all aspects of your business including the beautiful beer garden.

Pub and location

Keyworth is a popular village location, with good transport links to Nottingham, Leicester, and easy access to East Midlands Airport via the M1. It’s one of only three pubs in the village with a reputation for high-quality food and a vibrant community spirit.

The Keyworth Tavern is a majestic, detached building with two main trading areas, a bar and a restaurant, which we will redecorate before reopening. You’ll take full advantage of these good sized rooms with 45 bar covers and 45 restaurant covers inside and over 40 externally. The private accommodation will give you the ideal opportunity to throw yourself into the local community with three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and bathroom are all in good order.

The kitchen, one large room, lies behind the restaurant with the additional benefit of a walk-in fridge/freezer. The spacious beer garden splits between the front and rear of the pub, enveloped in a pergola. Guests also take advantage of the large car park for 25 vehicles.
