As a Shift Engineer your duties will include:
- Taking on both reactive and planned preventative work, supporting all departments within the hotel
- Ensuring that there is minimum disruption to guests and that all work is of the highest quality and that standards are maintained within the hotel
- Supporting property audits within the hotels and complete any action points in a timely manner
- Recording benchmarking data including meter readings
- Having full awareness of the Hotels’ facilities and take every opportunity to ensure the hotel is maintained to an exception standard
- Keeping clear record or all maintenance requests and completed tasks
- To comply with Company and statutory procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety
As a Shift Engineer, you will:
- Have previous experience in a similar role in a 4* or 5* hotel
- Be capable of making Intuitive decisions in favour of the guest and maintain the highest standards of service
- Have a naturally Warm and Generous personality
- Have 200 bedrooms plus experience
- have a strong and proven experience in the hotel sector, managing engineering teams, preferably with formal qualifications and property refurbishment experience
