Project Manager - Digital Transformation | London

6-12 month contract

Project Manager- Digital Transformation

Your Purpose

To support the Senior Management Team in the delivery of the Strategic Business Plan, through the planning, resourcing and management of all key digital transformation initiatives, defining the benefits, assessing progress towards realisation and making appropriate recommendations to ensure achievement. 

Your Responsibilities

Project Management - lead, define, develop, manage projects, using the appropriate frameworks and methodologies.

Promote Best Practice - explain, negotiate, embed and agree best change methodology with senior management to ensure the best environment for delivery success.

Planning - lead on setting standards for the change projects, perform on-going detailed reviews and monitoring of the initiatives.

Governance - establish and maintain governance to ensure delivery of the project initiatives, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities both internally and externally.

Quality Management and Assurance - establish and manage a schedule of quality reviews to ensure and assure the required change quality standards are consistently delivered.

Management Reporting - develop and manage the effective delivery of the change initiatives reporting, including analysis, as appropriate, to enable effective decisions/actions to be undertaken.

Risk, Issue and Dependency Management - work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to identify, manage and track risks, issues and inter-dependencies between the initiatives.

Leadership - support senior management providing leadership and direction and ensuring the required level of project management is provided to the projects and initiatives across the business.

Resource Management – monitor and provide appropriate recommendations to ensure effective resourcing of agreed initiatives.

Relationships - Engage and collaborate with 3rd parties / suppliers to ensure alignment of business initiatives and IT strategies.

Strategy Delivery - Ensure consistent alignment between business requirements, IT solutions and delivery options to ensure overall success.

You have

  • Vast experience in planning and driving digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in being fully accountable for key projects, leading and delivering ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Retail/multi-site experience is preferred.
  • Experienced in leading business change project teams.
  • Advanced Change Management skills.
  • The ability to influence and work with Senior Stakeholders.
