Caretaker - Your Purpose

To ensure the club is maintained to a high standard in all areas.  This means cleanliness both inside and outside the club and maintenance of all facilities such as pitches, showers, heating, lighting etc. To ensure high customer comfort, satisfaction and safety at all times. The caretaker will have key holder responsibility and be accountable for stock and club safety in the absence of the Club Manager.

Caretaker - Your Accountabilities

  • Maintain pitches, redistribution of rubber crumb, white lining, brushing & netting
  • Manage all internal areas of the club ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Work to a Maintenance Schedule to ensure the above
  • Complete general maintenance tasks within competence
  • Ensure all vending machines are kept fully stocked and operational
  • Ensure the club is compliant with company Health & Safety policies & procedures
  • Complete risk assessments and pitch check sheets
  • Carry out weekly fire tests
  • Carry out bi-weekly beer line cleans
  • Carry out weekly Legionella controls – weekly temp checks and flushing
  • Ensure all stock deliveries are recorded and stringently checked before accepting
  • Ensure stock is neatly stored away & rotated to avoid stock reaching sell by date
  • Ensure a weekly lighting audit is carried out
  • Identify & report to management team, any areas of club that require maintenance
  • Ensure all internal areas are cleaned in accordance to the cleaning schedule
  • Fulfil all reasonable requests to ensure customers’ comfort, satisfaction & safety
  • Receive customer feedback & deal with complaints in a calm & professional manner
  • Offer first response to customers needing first aid treatment
  • Control expenditure when repairing or replacing equipment
  • Ensure the front of house (Reception and Bar) area is always clean and tidy
