Talent Partner - Powerleague Support Office

Reports To: Chief People Officer

Department: People

Overall Purpose

To manage the end to end recruitment, induction and leaver process for all support office roles.

To manage and provide appropriate recruitment support to Regional Operations Managers on Manager and Assistant Manager recruitment. 

To design and manage recruitment and induction processes and tools for the Powerleague clubs and Powerplay   ensuring effective and efficient recruitment and always creating a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

To contribute to building the employer brand through the best use of social media and job boards.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with Regional Managers, Heads of Departments and Line Managers to understand their current and future recruitment needs.
  • Review and compose job descriptions for all roles within the business, making these available on request.
  • Design and create job adverts, vacancy notifications and mailshots in line with Company brand guidelines.  
  • Focus on the management of a talent pipelines, finding and engaging both active and passive candidates through a blend of recruitment methods including social media, headhunting, job boards, referrals and networking.
  • Work closely with the Senior Business Partner and HR Coordinator on the development of end to end recruitment campaigns or retention and resourcing projects as required.
  • Identify and monitor KPI’s, in particular, labour turnover, time and cost to hire to the business and implement strategies and actions to drive improvement.
  • Create and manage a PSL of agencies, ensuring the Company obtains the best rate and is provided with a good service.
  • Manage the Refer a Friend process.
  • Design appropriate recruitment activities and tools e.g. club advertising; technical exercises; assessment Centres.
  • Undertake initial screening of applicants on behalf of hiring managers, collating shortlists, ensuring all CVs are managed in line with current Data Protection Regulations.
  • Design and create interview templates to ensure a consistent approach for all managers during their interview.
  • Support hiring managers with interviews when required. Following up on all interviews with managers to obtain candidate feedback.
  • Work closely with Marketing to create and design a new careers page on the Company website and manage our recruitment on social media.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment sites such as LinkedIn and Leisurejobs.
  • Monitor and manage recruitment budgets.
  • Develop and manage recruitment processes for the Support Office.
  • Manage leaver process for the support office.
  • Provide weekly updates on key vacancies.

Technical Knowledge/Professional Experience

Essential

  • Proven track record of success in a recruitment role.
  • Experience of administering testing and selection methods.
  • Experience in leading and managing end-to-end recruitment.
  • Proficient with online recruitment methods, social media and applicant tracking software.
  • Understands and compliant with the relevant Data Protection legislation.
  • Experience of managing induction.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in an onsite / in-house role.
  • Experience of advising and coaching managers on recruitment.
  • Experience of sourcing in a fast paced environment and an understanding of advanced search and engagement methods
