Our locations reflect our ethos for enjoying the privilege of seasonality and field time harvest from the surrounding country lands. Matched with a modern dining attitude means we settle for nothing but the finest from field to pot and contents of plate and glass. We’re open daily and dedicated to the consumption of food and drink, from lunch through to dinner.

Sitting pretty in our own grounds and gardens, we are inspired by the metropolitan and vibrant heart strings of the surrounding City of Manchester yet balanced with the wholesome vitality from the heartlands of Cheshire countryside.

Pointing Dog & Duck, Bakewell

Pointing Dog & Duck is surrounded by the green lands of Derbyshire in the historic chocolate box market town of Bakewell. Housed in a restored saw mill, completed with ancients beams and right on the edge of the waterways; it is no surprise that we have the best views in town of the charming River Wye and it’s leafy green surrounds.

Situated in a the grand old building that you might know as The Polish Club on Ecclesall Road, we’re delighted to house Pointing Dog Clubhouse. Enjoy our New York tavern bar for exquisite cocktails, fine wines and local ales; relax in our restaurant and feast on fine food or relax in the delights of our outside terrace.
