The Pipe and Glass are searching for a flexible, motivated individual to join our friendly kitchen team in our East Yorkshire award-winning Michelin Star pub.

This is an ideal opening for a budding chef looking to start or progress their career in one of the best kitchens in the country. On the job training is given, along with opportunities to gain qualifications. A keen interest in your own development will go a long way!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food to company requirements and assist in general catering operations and duties
• Accept deliveries and store food stuff within the company’s procedures
• Help as required on various sections to assist other members of staff in their tasks
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene, appropriate to food preparation and service
• Clean and maintain kitchen, staff areas, fridges and freezers, in accordance with schedules

Experience Required:

• An awareness of health and hygiene regulations
• A passion for cooking and food
• Driving Licence with own transport (we’re in a beautiful, but quite rural location!)
