The Pipe and Glass is a one MICHELIN- star pub with rooms in South Dalton, near Beverley in East Yorkshire.

We have an opportunity for a talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.

We’re looking for a chef with a genuine passion for cooking and working with great ingredients, an eye for detail and an enthusiasm for creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. The Sous Chef would work closely alongside James and our head chef to inspire and lead the kitchen team.

This is the ideal opportunity for a professional chef looking to progress their career.

Role to include:

• Preparation and cooking of dishes at a high standard
• Supervisory duties
• Ordering and stock management
• Training and development of the kitchen team

Candidate specification:

• Must be aware of, and conform to, all health and hygiene regulations.
• Confidence in leading the kitchen team
• Previous experience at Chef de Partie level or higher
• Professional, enthusiastic attitude
• Eligible to work in the UK
